-Brand New Concert 11/24
Went to see Jesse Lacy and the gang with a very rad friend at the Dome arena in Henrietta. They played a really good set of songs from their last three albums. At the beginning it was pretty gross cuz we were almost crushed by the magnitude of sweaty smelly peoples. But after getting out of the pit it was quite enjoyable. Third time seeing them in concert, and third time it was awesome.

-Matisyahu Concert 12/8
My roommate got a bunch of free tickets to this a few days ago, so me and all my roommates and some other friends went to the Main Street Armory to checkedy check it out. One word description? Pretty fuckin Rad. Matisyahu is wicked good at beat boxing and again overall really fun and good music. Plus the second to last song he jumped into the crowd which is always really sweet.

-Weezer: Raditude
Bought the new Weezer album with credit left on a gift card. Yes, this isn't close to the classics of the Blue Album or Pinkerton, get over it. Take it as it is. And what is it? It's a pop infused album with some hits and misses. At first listen I only liked the first and last songs, but upon more listening I'm more into much of the other songs in it, especially the track "Can't Stop Partyin" with Lil Wayne, it's just so ridiculous and cheesy (and they know it) it's just awesome. "Party like tomorrow is my funeral, gotta stop mixing alcohol and pharmaceuticals"= pure genius. My favorite song on the album is "Put Me Back Together", nothing too mind bending, but it's fun to listen to and sing along with, and what more do you want?

-Hausu (1977 Japanese Horror Film)
Saw this film at the Dryden on a 35mm print. Idk wtf happened, but it sure did look cool.
just watch this clip and it pretty much sums up the whole movie.
-Almost Famous
Finally got around to watching this film. Yadda yadda yadda, good coming of age story, but the thing that bugged me the most about this film was Kate Hudson, i just find her annoying and not a very good actress, but that's just my opinion. Billy Crudup is really good in it and it's also really interesting to see that Zooey Deschanel hasn't aged a bit in 9 years.

-The Killer
Watched this Hong Kong John Woo film for the first time. Melodrama+Guns+Bullets+White Doves+Slow Motion+Squibs Galore=A good damn time. Looking forward to checking out Hard Boiled sometime in the near future.

more reviews to be added tomorrow......
