Sunday Sunday Sunday

Woke up sore as a something vulgar. I looked at my feet and they were black as charcoal. Took a nice shower then walked down to Highland Diner and had an amazing ham and cheese omelet, spicy hash browns and wheat bread.

Then I drove down to Wellsville and Canisteo to partake in two big family reunion bonanzas with family all in from all over the USandA. Played Texas hold'em with a bunch of relatives which was pretty fun. Heard some messed up stories involving things I dare not say.

Missed the first night of Shark Week :(

Thurrrrrsday

Woke up.
Showered.

Went for a bike ride, got some pizza, then went to Pinnacle Hill, found some sweet trails, jumps and vistas. Met these two dudes in the woods.

Performed at The Comedy Club in Webster tonight, along with 29 other comics. God damn, it was a 3 and a half hour show for everyone. The crowd was nice and big, probably around 70+ people, which was the most people I've ever performed in front of. That made it a little nerve wracking, but it was still fun, did a couple little flubs, but like all of them, its all a learning experience.

Home, drank some chocolate milk. Wrote this. Pass out time.

Wednesdae

Whenever I wake up early I seriously have weird ass episodes. I will set my alarm, but somehow I will always wake myself up before them, not to actually get up for the day, but to stay 80% asleep so i can wake up in a Milli seconds notice to turn off my annoying alarm. I can't stop this. This happens every time. Some part of me takes control of my body and mind and is dead set on those few extra minutes of crack sleep.

But anyways I got up early for this music video shoot for this rapper called Asap. http://www.myspace.com/asapone It was pretty fun and the rappers were really nice guys. We shot it on the Cannon Mark 5D, with a couple bounce cards in the overcast and rain. Shot in a bunch of places across Rochester, only got kicked out of one of them, so that wasn't too bad. Saw a good deal of interesting characters walking around Main Street in Rochester. Ate at Nick Tahoes for the first time, wasn't too shabby, I mean, it's no where to take a lady but you can get a pretty damn good cheeseburger for just two dollars.

Performed at another Stand Up open mic tonight with Mr. Theroux. This time it was at this place called Sullys Tavern or bar or something. Talk about a hole in the wall bar, it was under a highway overpass and on a dead end street. Anyways, much like Monday night the crowd consisted of the other comedians performing. The sole non-comedian performer was this old man that could fill out a C-Cup and wore cut off jean short shorts. Classic to say the least. It was about half and half of the comedians who did all new stuff to just test the waters and ones who did their regular set list. When it was my turn, about 80% of everyone was outside on a smoke break, so I had two other comedians and short shorts to test my new stuff. Good experience nonetheless. Doing it again tomorrow night up in Webster.

Toosday

I finished reading Vagabonding today.

Damn
Good

Wrote a little for my feature script.

Monday

Read a bunch of this book i got about Vagabonding. It's been putting into words what I've had going on in my brain for as long as i can remember. "The World is a book, and if you don't travel, its like reading only one page".

I performed stand up at this bar north of the city tonight near Kodak. 13 comics went, and other than us there were three audience members haha. It was still a good experience though. Tested out some new material that went over really well. Looking forward to doing more performances this summer, and into the future.

Also I'm pretty sure I'm in love with Chocolate Milk, i get tingly just thinking about it.

Sunday Day

Saw Drag Me To Hell again at the dollar theater. Was just as enjoyable the second time around.

Had a pretty awesome slice of Pepporoni Pizza.

Went to the last day of Boulderfest.

That was about it.

Saturday Day

Today I successfully crashed my bike twice, well the second would be considered more of a wipe out, but nonetheless, came out pretty uninjured minus a couple bruises and little scrapes. It wasn't that bad in that I was riding my beater bike, but i still have to do some major repairs to get it to function again.

Went to Boulderfest again today. Saw these ginormous mastiff dogs the size of bears. The bands today were alright, but it was all moved inside shortly after i got there from the monsoon rain. Again the sound mix was way off, but it still was pretty cool to have a music festival in my backyard practically.

Had a couple people over for beers and pool tonight. Some local comics came by to hang, heard some pretty funny stories and overall had a good time.

Saw the Tron Legacy trailer today. Thoughts? Well, I saw the original film last year in History of Computer Animation class, I'm sure it was pretty rad if back in 1981 if you were hopped up on something, but in 2008 in an uncomfy chair during an 8am class I thought it was pretty boring and lame. So I really don't care even if Jeff Bridges is some magical technological man who doesn't need to wear socks and shoes.

Oh yeah, I came up with a new catch phrase the other day: "Tell it like ya smell it." Awesome, i know right?

Friday was a long long day

Woke up at 7:30am, first time in a very long time being up that early. Worked as prop master for this shoot for an instructional dvd for this company www.vuzix.com. Was pretty straightforward, nothing too crazy.

Then came back home and went to Boulder Fest, saw some pretty sweet bands actually, the best one was called "Club Sandwich aka: Big Boy Soda and the Yucky Snakes". All the band memebers would rotate instruments and vocals after each song, they had a really energetic and sweet style.

Then went to a housewarming party with good hors d'œuvres.(i just looked up how to spell that so it should be correct).
