Went around to different Bike shops looking at parts for my project bike.
Bought some paint. Got the paint design all figured out, its going to look sick as hell.
Went and saw Land of the Lost at the dollar theatre. Really glad i saw this for a dollar instead of 9.50 when it first came out. It wasn't terrible, it was just muddled down by a lot of flat/boring/not funny scenes. There were parts that were absolutely hysterical like when Will Ferrel was about to french kiss Chaka, and the art design was really cool. And I am glad they kept the Sleestaks practical instead of doing them CG (minus when they open their mouths). But it was just very uneven, like it didn't know what it wanted to be, a stoner comedy, a kids movie, or an adventure film. It tried to be all of these, thus it failed. That's why Step Brothers worked so well, it knew exactly what it was and went for it to the Nth degree, a totally unserious silly film about two child adults. But by the end of Land of the Lost, you have an overwhelming sense of "what the fuck did i just see?", if the filmmakers intended us to feel this way then bravo, they accomplished their mission. Oh yeah, the dinosaurs looked pretty cool, yet still to this day the Dinosaur effects in Jurassic Park hold up better.
